An icon and illustration system for GhostDraft, a customer communications platform for insurance. Seventy two assets, drawn to one grid and one line weight so that a product team can reach for any of them without checking whether it matches.

Why insurance software is a hard brief

The subjects are abstract. A document that has been approved, a template that inherits from another template, a communication that went out to a segment. None of those have an obvious picture, so the system leans on a small set of repeated parts rather than on metaphor, and lets meaning come from how the parts combine.

The page itself

The human page is an infinite drafting sheet rather than a grid of thumbnails. Drag to explore in any direction, scroll with command held to zoom. It is a code component, so the plain-text twin at /ghostdraft-icons?md carries almost nothing. That is what this file is for.
