Overview

This is the profile environment: four pages that hold everything about who I am and what I have shipped. I used to call myself a Product Designer. The title did not change because it was trendy, it changed because the work did. Being able to prototype ideas in code moved the line of what one person can own: I design the interface and build the version that ships. These days the scarce skill is not making more, it is curating what is worth making.

What I do

• Systems thinking: tokens, components and docs. The design-system work that keeps a growing product consistent.

• Web design: sites built in Framer with care for type, motion, and the small details.

• Prototypes: real ideas tested in days, not a generic build. Cursor, Claude, Framer.

• App design: onboarding, transactions, edge cases. Flows where the stakes are real.

• UI and illustration: custom icons and illustration that give a product personality.

• Branding: logos, type, voice. Something real for a product to stand on.

• Shhhcribble: on-device transcription for Apple platforms, designed and built end to end.

• Lollipop Carousel: a strip of capsule media that drifts on its own, built as a Framer code component.

• Bettr Stickers: a holographic die cut sticker pack you can paste from.

• GhostDraft Icons: 72 assets on an infinite drafting sheet.

How I work

• I design and build the same thing. No handoff, no telephone game.

• I write agent skills and keep project dossiers so the work compounds instead of resetting each session.

• I treat the design system as the source of truth. Screenshots lie, tokens do not.

• I would rather ship a real slice and learn than polish a mockup nobody has used.

FAQ

• What does a Design Engineer actually do? I design the interface and build the production version of it, one person across design and front end or native code.

• Do you still design, or just code now? Still very much design. The code is how the design survives contact with reality.

• What is your stack? Swift and CoreML, TypeScript and React, React Native with Expo, Framer with code components and overrides, Figma, and Claude Code or the Framer agent for the build loop.

• Where are you based? Lisbon, Portugal. Open to remote or relocation.

• Are you available? The current status is on the Overview page rather than here, because it changes and this file does not.
